Introduction

Cliptracer remote is just a mobile app that allows to control your camera via a range of devices connected to the phone, from cycling computers to smartwatches and even headphones.
By simply launching the app and keeping your phone in your pocket, you can control your camera through the music playback. Just like you control your music apps from a smartatch or cycling computer. The app stays active with the locked screen for hours and the connection to the camera is never lost unless you remove the battery.

How to Use

  • Initial Setup
    • Pair your Camera camera with your device via Bluetooth. This is a one-time setup, and there's no need to repeat it in the future.
  • Launching Cliptracer
    • Open the Cliptracer app.
    • Select the camera you wish to control. Once selected, the app will confirm that the camera is connected.
  • Controlling Your Camera
    • Begin or stop recording by pressing the playback button on your device.
    • The maximum standby time for Camera in sleep mode is 8 hours. If this duration is exceeded, you will need to manually power on your Camera and set it up again for use with Cliptracer.
  • Status Checks
    • View the current Camera status, including battery life and memory, directly in the song name of your device.

Answer: all that support music playback.

Does it support Quick Capture feature

Yes, it does. In order to save battery, every time you trigger a recording, the camera will start it even if It's powered off, and correspondingly the camera powers off automatically once the recording is finished.

Does it support Smart Watch?

Yes, it supports Smart Watch. The app supports all the watches that allow you to control the music playback on the phone.

Does this app support the highlight tagging feature?

Yes, you can add highlights on a go just pressing on "next song" button on a playback
